LinkedIn: Social Media for Your Job Search

A Career Conversation in New York City
Monday, February 27, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:30pm

A free workshop with a panel of experts for dancers, teachers and choreographers

LinkedIn is the primary social media tool for ongoing career management and to landing your next job. Find out the best practices and strategies for your search from social media expert Haig Chahinian blogger at www.WorkplaceNudity.com. LinkedIn is an invaluable tool for research and marketing during your career transition, and beyond. LinkedIn's multitude of features beg to be used -- yet which are the most helpful for your specific purposes? Join us for this innovative and interactive workshop in which you'll: learn how to develop an online profile that represents you best, discover avenues into organizations where you want to work, gather tools so you can leverage LinkedIn mindfully, and with ease.

Although this event is free, space is limited. Dancers do not have to be Career Transition For Dancers’ dancer-client to attend. The workshop is open to pre-professional, current, and former professional dancers of all genres.

Free of charge, but space is limited.
